    It had been a busy day and I wished to have a quiet evening. My parents would not be back until late, and I hade decided to do some reading in my room. I put my two sisters to bed and prepared a hot supper and some hot drink. Soon I was sitting happily with some food in front of me and a book at my side.
    I was just beginning to eat when the phone rang. I dropped my chopsticks and hurried to answer it. Byt the time I finished my supper, I began drinking cold tea with my book open at the page one. Suddenly there was a loud kncok at the door. It gave me such a surprise that I let the drink run out and made ugly spots on my trousers. Someone had lost his way and wanted me to show him the way. it took me quite some time to get rid of him. At last I managed to sit down again and read a whole page without any more stopping until the tow little sisters woke up. They began crying and I rushed upstairs. The two little sisters were still play in bed at 11 o'clock when my father came home. I could have cried out when my father asked me if I had spent a pleasant evening.
