    Dear,
    Ever since that first innocent e-mail encounter, I really look forward to our online conversations. We've logged many hours discussing all kinds of personal things, but I'm still insatiably curious about you -- starting with what you look like, how you like to spend your days off, whether you fold your clothes neatly or just stuff them in the drawer -- a million different details.
    
    I have a feeling that we could be more than electronic pen pals. So I'm going to be bold and suggest we actually MEET, face to face. It's not a big deal that we live in different cities. In fact, I plan to attend a four-day networking conference there on the 21st of next month, and my evenings are open. Do you sense the same vibes I do? Shall we take the risk of having dinner together?
    
    I'll phone you as soon as I get into town. I hope you can meet me at the airport; I'm tall and I'll be wearing jeans and a red jacket. Oh, and my mother will be at my side. No, she's not my chaperone, but I like to be efficient -- I figured that the sooner she meets you, the sooner I know whether you're the one true person for me.
