Talent Show

    I coulnd't believe that we were actually going to perform until the minute I stood on the stage. The performance was not professional and turned out to be a great laughter, but it was such a wonderful experience nevertheless.
    Believe it or not, we decided to sing the Chinese song, "My Motherland", because we are so angry about the way the U.S. government handle the collision. As Chinese students in the U.S., we think that we ought to do something to express our deep love toward our great motherland. That's how we came up with the idea to sing a song in the international talent show. Although it won't do any help in resolving the collision problem, but......well, it's nothing wrong with being a young and patriotic person!
    Standing on the stage in front of the audience, I was not nervous at all. I was so touched while I was singing and I could feel the China spirit inside of me. yes, I am a Chinese, I carry this identity with me no matter where I go. I feel so proud of being a Chinese. I feel so proud of my motherland.
