Intl Students

    I went to a party at a friend's house last Friday night. It was splendid. There were about 8 of us at the party, all of who are international students. Honestly, I feel more comfortable being around international students rather than around Amerian people. It gives me a sense of belonging when I am with international students, because I am indeed one of them.
    The night was filled with laughter and happiness. We cooked dinner together, and we talked about a lot of interesting things while eating. I am not a sociable person, but I found myself so talkative and excited that night.
    I was happy to learn that there's much we have in common, we think alike and have the same concerns. Although we are from different cultures and different backgrounds, but as international students, we have the same dreams. We know our values, we know why we are here and what we are after. I think that's one thing that brought us together tonight.
    I admire internationsl students. I think they are brave people who dare to take the challenge of being so far away from home and depending all on their own. I am looking forward to hang out with them again.
