Sinead O'Connor ，1966 年 12 月 12 日生于爱尔兰的都柏林，
是一位非常具有争议性的光头女歌手。当初唱片公司想把她包装成
一个金发碧眼的女歌手，她却愤而操剪把自己变成了一个光头女歌
手，这简直是对传统唱片业包装、运作的一个极大讽刺和挑战。此
后她的不羁性格和标志性的大光头便成了她最大的特色。自1987年
出道以来，她一直保持着自主表达情感的女强人形象。在全球各种
公共场合，她直率的禀性常常表现为傲慢无礼，但这类勇敢行为最
加格莱美的角逐；也曾经因烧毁罗马教皇的画像而被美国观众赶下
台。但她的音乐天赋让人无法拒绝。她的音乐植根于合成摇滚、凯
尔特民歌与朋克音乐。
听过Sinead不多的几首代表她一贯风格（狂野硬朗型）的歌曲，但
大多数都不对胃口，而这首偶然觅得的A Perfect Indian 细腻纯
净的声音一直让我无法忘怀，所说是那种淡淡的不经意的忧郁，那
么不经意地揪住听者的心，浮躁的心有了片刻的宁静。我想这个外

的马匹，和那些黑皮肤的异乡人眼中的光芒。
