I just took pain to sign up for Google Voice (great service btw), it was a pain in the ass because only landlines in US could be registered. I am in Beijing, China! Fxxk myself.
However,there are plenty of nerds out there who are just as hopeless as me, there are numerous guide in Chinese to help a guy with no actual landline to register a virtual landline (Oh, so many register forms and passwords,Shxxt!)
At last, I just did have a virtual landline, plus a SIP phone account, plus a google voice account, plus a Gizmo account. However, I cannot figure out why I need a U.S. landline in the first place. 'Cause I don't have a U.S. girlfriend to talk to, my girl uses Chinamobile.
Laugh at me as you please, I will live in my cell and regret.
