当没听清对方的话时, 如何礼貌地请对方重复:

Case 1: 电话通讯正常但没听清对方的话, 可以这样礼貌地请对方重复:

Could you repeat that, please?
Could you say that again, please?

Sorry I didn’t catch you/I didn't follow you. What did you just say? Would you mind saying it again?
Not sure if we understood what you just stated. Could you repeat or clarify please?

Case 2: 由于电话通讯不畅导致听不清对方时, 可以这样礼貌地请对方重复:

Sorry, we lost you for a few seconds there. Could you repeat please?
Sorry, your voice is choppy/with interruption/off and on/cutting off , I can hardly (figure out what you said/follow you/catch your meaning) . Could you repeat please?

听清了, 但是没听懂对方的意思时，可以这样积极主动地问:

What does it mean?
What do you mean?
Could you explain what you mean.
What are you trying to say?
What do you mean by that?

听清了,似乎也听明白了,但是不确定是否真的听懂了, 可以这样积极确认对方的意思:

Are you saying that...?
Do you mean...?
Are you trying to say that...?

对方语速过快或声音过低，这时候也可以请对方说慢点、大声点说:

Could you slow down, please?/ Could you speak a little more slowly? I can't follow you.
Could you speak up a little, please?
Please speak louder.

想确认对方是否听明白了自己讲的话，可以相对比较礼貌地说:

　Do you understand what I am trying to say? 　
　Am I making myself clear? 　
　Did I express myself clearly?
　Do you have any questions so far?

交谈中如何礼貌地打断别人的话

Note: If possible, it's polite never to try disturbing others, particularly the cross culture communicators, while they are speaking during conference call time. This is the basic etiquette.

Towards the special case such as one person talks over for really long time and seems it'll affect the conference call schedule, or you have to leave earlier because of urgent thing, you may try the following sentence patterns to give your voice.
